Don’t forget to check out our previous article on the Arubian Flag. Aruba Dushi Tera is the name of the national anthem, which translates to Aruba Sweet Land or Aruba Nice Land.
Origins of Aruba Dushi Tera
It is a crioyo style waltz that was composed by Rufo Wever and Juan Chabaya Lampe (affectionately known as Padu del Caribe) in 1953 and became very popular.

From Composition to National Anthem
Crioyo means creole just so you know. The original composition only had two verses; the third verse was added in 1976 by composer Hubert Lio Booi. It became the national anthem on March 18th, 1976.
